A CLEAR REASON TO BEGIN

Why try it?

Gentle neck rotations can help maintain mobility and flexibility. The useful part is a comfortable, controlled movement—not a dramatic stretch or a clicking sound.

TAKE YOUR TIME

Let’s give it a try.

  1. 01
Looking ahead with a level chin and relaxed shoulders.

    Begin looking ahead

Sit tall with your shoulders relaxed. Keep your chin level and your eyes facing forward.

  2. 02
Head turns gently to the person’s left while the chin stays level and the body stays facing forward.

    Turn within comfort

Slowly look toward your left shoulder. Stop where the movement still feels comfortable, pause for up to five seconds, then return to the centre.

  3. 03
Head turns to the person’s right with relaxed shoulders and no hands pulling the head.

    Try the other side

Repeat to the right. If comfortable, build up to three turns each way. There is no need to match the range on both sides.

Keep it comfortable.

Do not force your head with your hands or circle it quickly. Stop for pain, dizziness, tingling or feeling unwell. Get individual guidance after a recent injury or surgery.
